3. Services & Usage

Inbu provides online preparation for the Dutch civic integration exams (Inburgering).

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are prohibited from sharing your account with others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.

User Generated Content & AI

Our platform allows you to submit text and audio for feedback. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use this content to provide the service (e.g., send it to our AI providers like OpenAI) and to improve our educational models. You represent that you own or have the rights to any content you submit.

4. AI-Powered Assessments & Limitations

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to provide practice exercises, instant feedback on your speaking and writing, and personalized study recommendations.

Important Limitations

  • The feedback and evaluations provided by our AI system are for practice purposes only. They do not represent the official scoring or judgment of the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO).
  • Use of our platform does not guarantee approval of your civic integration exam (Inburgering). Exam outcomes depend on multiple factors beyond our platform's scope, including the official examiner's assessment and specific test conditions.
  • Our platform is not a source of entitlement. Passing practice exercises on Inbu does not create any legal right, claim, or entitlement to residency, citizenship, or any immigration benefit under Dutch law.
  • AI systems have inherent limitations. While we continuously improve our models, feedback may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Always refer to official IND resources and guidelines for exam requirements.

Compliance

Inbu is registered and operated in compliance with Dutch law. Our use of AI technology is subject to the Dutch AI Act (AI-verordening) and applicable EU regulations. We maintain transparency about how our AI systems function and welcome any questions about our methodology.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Services are billed in advance. All prices include applicable VAT (BTW).

Right of Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Because our digital content (online courses and practice exams) is delivered instantly, EU consumer law allows us to ask you to waive the standard 14-day withdrawal right once access begins. This is standard for all digital learning platforms.

Our promise to you: If you're not satisfied, just reach out within 14 days and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked, no hassle.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials covering the Inburgering curriculum, platform design, and code are the intellectual property of Inbu or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any part of our content without explicit permission.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Inbu is not liable for indirect damages or loss of data. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 6 months preceding the event.

We do not guarantee that you will pass your exams. Our content is a preparation aid only.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes regarding these terms or the service shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
